Diverse exhibitions and significant professional conferences – Medbaltica 2023 trade fair has come to a close!

The 16th International Medical Exhibition Medbaltica 2023, which brought together thousands of industry professionals, medical product manufacturers and companies from 11 countries closed on 22 September at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre.

138 participants from 11 countries – Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Czechia, Italy, China, Romania, Finland, Hungary, Ukraine and Germany participated in the fair. This included multiple companies that participated in Medbaltica for the first time. 9,732 visitors were introduced to the latest offer of the exhibition participants dealing in the dentistry, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, medical technology and healthcare sectors. The professional exhibition was complemented by products for a healthy, active lifestyle and health improvement for everyone.

A record number of events – 16, including 14 conferences and two seminars for industry professionals – took place within two days along with the exhibition at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre! The dental sector was the most extensively represented – with four conferences. Two interdisciplinary conferences of the Latvian Medical Association, a conference of the Latvian Association of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians, a conference of the Latvian Nurses Association, a conference of the Latvian Association of Physicians-Rehabilitologists, a conference of the Latvian Physiotherapist’s Association, a conference of the Pharmacists’ Society of Latvia and a conference of the Latvian Association of Diet and Nutrition Specialists were also held. For the first time, the Conference of the Latvian Association of Rural Family Doctors was held at Ķīpsala as well. The annual conference organised at Ķīpsala by the Healthcare Employers’ Association also brought the heads of healthcare institutions together to get acquainted with the latest developments.

The next Medbaltica medical fair will be held in 2024 for two days, from 19 to 20 September, at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre.
