Furniture & Design Isle 2023: all you need for a beautiful and functional home!

On 13–15 October, the Ķīpsala International Exhibition Centre will host Furniture & Design Isle 2023, an international furniture, interior, and design fair featuring the latest furniture, designer objects, innovative lighting, and decor for home and public spaces. The fair will take up two themed halls – Baltic Furniture and Design Isle.

The former will present the latest furniture collections, modern lights, furniture accessories, and interior textiles, while the latter will offer unique interior design objects, designer furniture collections, and various other items created by designers. All you need for a beautiful and functional home, in one place!

More than 150 companies from nine countries, including Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, and Poland, will present a variety of modern solutions for the home and office.
The fair will offer a great opportunity for those who seek to visit the exhibitions of Latvia’s top manufacturers. ‘Nakts mēbeles’, KATE, ‘Rīgas Krēslu fabrika’ with its new ARTICUL identity, as well as Troja, LETT, Wenden Furniture, and others will present their collections.

Well-known companies such as FEIDI, KATE, R+R Concept, Qubo, Raeco (Skandi Mēbeles), Surfaces.studio, ‘Mūzas istaba’ will bring their sofas, beds, chests of drawers, shelves, tables, chairs, and other furniture to the fair.

If you are thinking about installing a new staircase, make sure to visit the Stairs For You exhibition, and if it is a modern mattress you are looking for, head to the booths of ‘Miega bode’ (‘Matraču meistars’), ‘Nakts mēbeles’ and TEMPUR.

There will be office furniture for various interior styles at the ISKU booth, while office furniture by German manufacturers will be presented by R+R Concept, and the Latvian company RestockFurniture will offer chairs for conference rooms, salons, and restaurants.
For lighting solutions, visit the booths of ‘O design’, SIA Livarts, Aiplights, SI-Light, and others.

For the first time in its history, the fair will present its athletic and health-conscious guests with excellent-quality design PENT fitness equipment that sets top athletic and aesthetic standards. Guests will also find a full range of fitness and yoga equipment.
New on the Latvian market! ARCHIDECO products will be available to see in person, with furniture, kitchens, lighting, bathroom equipment, and interior design accessories.

Art is Life event for art lovers
This year’s Furniture & Design Isle will feature the first Art is Life international event for art lovers, with at least 20 artists and sculptors, local and international, with 80 original works of art in different styles. Sculptures, paintings, and beautiful icons will be available for guests to see and buy. Art is Life is held by the organisers of the ‘Rīgas spārni’ project.

Design consultations
This year’s guests will also be able to get advice from interior designers certified by the Latvian Designer Association (LDA). 12 certified interior designers will offer consultations at the LDA stand: Kristiana Kazarjana, Marija Ovčeruka, Dace Zeltiņa, Varis Dzērve, Andra Rācenāja, Jeļena Ivanova, Katrīne Pētersone, Miks Pētersons, Iveta Bigele, Vīva Ieviņa, Arvīds Plokšta, and Līga Kausniece. The designers will reveal the latest trends in home interior design, in how to implement sustainable design, and will answer specific questions. In order for a consultation to be as useful as possible, prepare for it in advance and bring a photo of the space you are planning to renovate as well as its layout with dimensions.

LightUp! Lighting conference
The Latvian Designer Association will host the LightUp! Lighting conference in the Design Isle hall, featuring well-known professional speakers with extensive experience. The conference will be moderated by Ilze Led (Ilze Leduskrasta-Buša), architectural lighting designer and Women in Lighting ambassador. The conference will discuss topics associated with lighting from the viewpoints of designers, architects, lighting designers, manufacturers, distributors, as well as consumers.

Design Isle anniversary
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the thematic Design Isle hall, so we have prepared many surprises for its guests. Come and celebrate together with us: there will be a special anniversary photo wall to take pictures at, and a chance to enjoy an anniversary cocktail at the Expo Cafe bar.
