Great reading stuff at Latvian Book Fair 2021 in May!
This year, the Latvian Book Fair is coming to visitors in the springtime! From May 7 to 9, Ķīpsala International Exhibition Centre will host the 24th International Book and Publishers Exhibition offering to meet favourite authors, to enjoy readings, to be acquainted with publishing news and to buy books and table games at especially advantageous prices.
"This is a time, when we are forced to stop, think and also change our habits. The very complicated epidemiological situation in Latvia and around the world has also affected the Latvian Book Fair – this year the exhibition will take place in the spring. Nevertheless, as every year, the exhibition will feature a diverse range of books and a quality cultural programme. Reading not only improves concentration and analytical skills, but also reduces stress and evokes positive thinking. Let’s read and meet again at the Latvian Book Fair in May,” tells Sanita Blomniece, a manager of the Latvian Book Fair.
Authors’ readings and book launch events A three-day book fair in Ķīpsala is a great opportunity to take part in the book launch events, to meet authors and enjoy readings. In the cosy Writer’s Lounge, stakeholders can meet writers, get the long-coveted autographs and talk to their favourite authors.
Excellent offers As every year, the participants are carefully preparing for the Latvian Book Fair and promise visitors a number of surprises and events in their exhibition stands: presentations, discussions, competitions and quizzes, developmental and educational entertainment.
